Regulatory Compliance & Legal Requirements • Ensure full compliance with OSHA 1994, Factories and Machinery Act 1967, and all relevant regulations under DOSH Malaysia. • Act as the registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) for the company. • Liaise with regulatory bodies such as DOSH, BOMBA, and local authorities. • Ensure timely submission of statutory reports (e.g., JKKP reports, accidentnotifications). • Maintain compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) legal registers. B. Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Control (HIRARC) • Conduct and review HIRARC for all departments: • SMT & soldering lines (fumes, heat exposure) • Assembly & testing (electrical hazards) • Warehouse (material handling, forklift risks) • Identify unsafe conditions and implement control measures. • Review risk assessments periodically or when process changes occur. • Ensure engineering controls, administrative controls, and PPE are properlyimplemented. C. Workplace Inspection & Audit • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections across production, warehouse, office, and hostel (if applicable). Agensi Pekerjaan Versatile Creation Sdn. Page 2 • Lead internal EHS audits and support external audits (ISO 45001, ISO14001, customer audits). • Track and ensure closure of audit findings and corrective actions. • Monitor contractor safety compliance on-site. D. Incident Management & Investigation • Lead investigations for: - Workplace accidents - Near misses - Dangerous occurrences • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using tools like 5 Why or FishboneDiagram. • Prepare detailed reports and submit to management and authorities whererequired. • Implement preventive measures and follow-up on effectiveness. E. Safety Training & Awareness • Conduct safety induction training for new employees and contractors. • Organize regular: - Toolbox talks - Safety briefings - Emergency drills (fire, evacuation, chemical spill) • Ensure all employees are trained in: - PPE usage - Emergency response procedures - Safe work practices • Promote a safety-first culture through campaigns and engagement activities. F. Emergency Response & Preparedness • Develop and maintain Emergency Response Plan (ERP). • Coordinate with BOMBA for fire safety compliance and drills. • Ensure proper maintenance of: - Fire extinguishers - Fire alarm systems Agensi Pekerjaan Versatile Creation Sdn. Chemical & Environmental Safety • Manage Scheduled Waste in accordance with DOE regulations. • Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of chemicals (e.g., flux, solvents). • Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals. • Monitor air quality, ventilation, and fume extraction systems (especiallysoldering areas). • Ensure compliance with environmental standards (ISO 14001). H. PPE & Equipment Safety • Identify PPE requirements for each work area. • Ensure adequate supply and proper usage of PPE. • Conduct inspections on machinery safety, including: - Machine guards - Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) - Electrical safety compliance I. Safety Committee Management • Organize and chair Safety & Health Committee meetings. • Prepare meeting minutes and track action items. • Collaborate with department heads on safety improvements. J. Documentation & Reporting • Maintain accurate safety records including: - Incident reports - Training records - Inspection reports - Audit reports • Prepare monthly safety performance reports for management. • Track KPIs and recommend improvements.

Diploma or Degree in: Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or related field • Mandatory Certification (Malaysia Requirement) • Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH Malaysia • Possess a valid Green Book • Minimum 3–5 years experience in manufacturing (electronics/LEDpreferred)• Hands-on experience in: HIRARC, Incident investigation, Safety audits, Regulatory compliance • Technical Knowledge in OSHA 1994 & related regulations, ISO45001&ISO14001 standards • Chemical handling & Scheduled Waste Management • Fire safety & emergency response • Electrical and machinery safety • ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) awareness (added advantage
