Role Overview

The Product & Experience Lead is the single point of accountability for the overall quality of our digital solutions.

This role sits at the intersection of UX, business logic, development, and delivery. You will be deeply involved throughout the lifecycle of each project — from early thinking and planning, through design and development, to final delivery.

You will not simply manage tasks.

You will own outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product & Experience Ownership

1. Own the holistic quality of every solution delivered
2. Ensure consistency between:
   • UX intent
   • System logic
   • Business objectives
   • Technical implementation
3. Act as the final quality gate before anything is presented to a client or released

2. UX & Design Integrity

1. Work closely with UI/UX designers to:
   • Validate user flows, edge cases, and states
   • Ensure designs are realistic, buildable, and meaningful
2. Ensure that what gets built faithfully reflects the design intent
3. Identify UX gaps, awkward interactions, inconsistencies, and overlooked details

3. Logic, Flow & Edge-Case Review

1. Review functional requirements and system logic critically
2. Identify missing scenarios, broken flows, and assumptions early
3. Ensure the product behaves sensibly in real-world usage — not just ideal cases

4. Delivery & Light Project Management

1. Be actively involved in project delivery to gain first-hand visibility of issues
2. Work alongside the Project Manager to:
   • Track progress and dependencies
   • Surface risks early
   • Adjust scope or approach when quality is at risk
3. This role supplements, not replaces, project management — with a strong focus on outcomes rather than timelines alone

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

1. Serve as the connective tissue between:
   • Developers
   • UI/UX Designers
   • Business Analysts
   • Project Managers
2. Ask the difficult questions others may overlook
3. Challenge decisions constructively when quality, clarity, or coherence is compromised

6. Quality Standards & Continuous Improvement

1. Define and enforce internal standards for:
   • UX quality
   • Functional completeness
   • Product polish
2. Introduce lightweight frameworks, checklists, or reviews that improve consistency without bureaucracy
3. Help raise the overall product thinking maturity of the team
